The PDM DJ Crew Gets the party started at Rosa Parks Elementary

As part of our community outreach program PDM offers free DJ services to school and children's charitable events. In order to help our schools save money we offer our DJ services absolutely free to schools that have our theatre program in place. This free service saves the schools several hundreds of dollars and allows us to have fun with the kids as well. On Monday June 20th the PDM DJ Crew headed over to Rosa Parks Elementary for their 6th grade dance. The teachers and parents provided the 6th graders with an afternoon of great prizes, great food and PDM provided the fun and games. Mr. Martin himself showed up as the DJ and lead the kids in a high impact "Electric Slide" that lasted 10 minutes. After everyone caught their breath he kept the party going with a Michael Jackson "Thriller" Dance Off! The kids were awesome! This is the second DJ event that PDM has donated to Rosa Parks. And we want to thank Mrs. Arreola and Mrs. Ramsey who donated a $100 Best Buy Gift Card to the theatre for helping out at the event. Looks like we are $100 closer to getting the new Ipad and Ipods that the theatre needs. Thank you for allowing PDM to be part of such a special day for the 6th graders at Rosa Parks! Look for the PDM DJ Crew to pop up right across the street from Rosa Parks on August 8th for the registration at the all new Ramirez Jr. High! We'll see you there!
